And since then I fell badly in love with it. Yoga is definitely not something you an achieve just one lesson. And it has so much benefits. Definitely good for slimming down, regulates breathing and many many more!
What yoga has done to me:
I remembered reading this somewhere: you will notice the change in your body within 3-4 weeks, close friends and family will see the change in you 4-6 weeks and others will see it after 6 weeks. So after doing yoga for 3 weeks, I honestly notice slight changes in myself. My thigh became slightly smaller. Very tiny changes to notice by others. I really feel good.
Another awesome benefit I love about yoga is that it tones your body instead of building up muscle. Most of the exercises build up muscles faster, which I don’t really want to because I will look damn big size. Hence, I have chosen to do yoga out of the other exercises. And it is so convenient to do it. You can do it anytime, anywhere, just needed the yoga mat. Remember I went to Cambodia last week, I wasn’t aware that there’s a gym and swimming pool area at the hotel I stayed. So I just did yoga in my room (without the mat though). It’s such a good way to stay healthy even in overseas.
I can go on and on about how much I love yoga because it just so damn awesome. It’s also better to do something you love, rather than forcing yourself to exercise just because you want to slim down/build muscle/stay healthy. Yoga is a 3-in-1 for me! 🙂
